I am writing to inform you all that I will not be at the Battersea decorative fair as previously advertised. My apologies.

I will, however, be at the Olympia International Art & Antiques Fair (4-14 June, only 7 weeks away) with an array of the finest and most fascinating canes in Europe and I look forward to seeing you all there.

"I Dream of Canes"

Do you awake in the middle of the night with your thoughts disturbed as you consider all the wonderful walking sticks that could be adorning your collection? Do fine umbrellas stalk your nocturnal reveries?

The young man in this 19th century print is no stranger to similar night time disturbances. The canes and umbrellas dance around his bed and taunt him with their elusive presence.
